Hello, new to the group and hoping to get some advice. Been in the
market for a 90 or 91 300zx for about 6 weeks now, not much luck finding
a good non-turbo, 2 seater with less than 80,000 miles. My question,
does the superstition of never buing the first model year of a new body
style hold true with these cars? Any major problems the 90 has that the
91 model does not? Also, what year was leather first offered in the
non-turbos?Thanks for any help!
Urgent!!!!!!
I would highly appreciate it if anybody could let me know information about
NISSAN UD CWA 45 (diesel) parts list (reference and description) especially related to
engine, filters.
Thank you for your cooperation.

I would like to install a trailer hitch on my 1996 Infiniti G20. I want to use
the hitch to attach a bike rack. Has anyone done this? Do you have any tips
concerning how to locate the hitch and how much I should expect to spend? I
asked the dealer in Richmond, VA and they did not have any suggestions.
Also, does anyone know where I can buy a set of floor mats for the front seat
at a reasonable price?
My mother-in-law is interested in getting a 200SX, but she
was told by some mechanics that the 200SX and Sentra (as
well as other Nissans) have trouble with their automatic
transmissions. They said you could expect to replace the
transmission after five or six years.
Is there any truth to this? I’d be interested in hearing
from some Nissan owners!
Thanks very much!

Hello all! my 1984 Nissan king cab 2.4 liter carb. engine seems to have
a bad antifreeze smell after I go someplace and return home…..
Before that it had a bad smell like hot metal and it was idling too fast.
Come to find out the tension pully bearings were gone. It finally locked up
on me the pully wore out so the belt to the power steering etc. burnt up.
I got home safely. Then replaced the tension pulley 76.00 and the belt 7.00.
Now i’m worried this smell is something else. Could it be water pump?
How can I check? I look don’t see anything leaking. Also the vehicle has
103,000 thousand on the odometer. I’m the 2nd owner. I bought it from the
original owner. The truck bed is also a little rusty . There is a good size
whole in the bed near the right rear tire well area.
Any tips on these repairs: anti freeze smell, rusted hole in bed and even
a way to get more performance out of this truck. It is a five speed. But
its a little sluggish compared to my ford thunderbird 302 engine. I hear
you can soup this little trucks up. But one think I found out was the parts
for nissan are very expensive.

I have a 1991 4X2 pickup with the 4 cyl. The tires are 195x75x14. The extended cab v6
that year had 215x75x14 tires which I think look better. The 195s look undersized by
comparison. The base 4×4 had 15 inch rims.
I’d like to put something larger on my truck. I know the 215x75x14 will fit
nicely because that’s what was on the ext. cab v6 with the same basic body type. I’d
like to go a little bigger if possible. Does anyone have any suggestions about the best
tire/wheel size for the 4×2 pickups? Thanks.

I’m parting out an ’82 Dastun 720 King Cab. Most parts are there and in
good shape. If you are interested in a part, please e-mail me.
Best offers accepted.
I bought a CD player/radio and installed it in my ’93 Maxima, well, it
was too much for the factory speakers, so 3 months later, I blew the
rear left speaker. I thought all I would have to do is buy new speakers,
pop off the speaker covers, unscrew the speakers, put the new speakers
in, plug in the wires, pop the covers on and viola! Done!
That wasn’t the case. I called a Nissan dealer, turns out I had to take
out my back seat, take off the rear deck, that exposed the speakers,
then I had to put it all back together. I just thought that was kind of
a hassle.
Anyone else with a similar experience?

well the fuses are under a panel on the left kick panel in the foot
well but you probably blew the fuse on the back of the radio
itself..have to pull radio to replace it.. good luck…
