Is this a safe way to reset the ECM on Nissan’s ?? I do it on my Pontiac with
the only problem being a loss of radio station presets, which can be reset, of
course.
TIA,
John whose girlfiend has a 96 Sentra GXE

Can anyone tell me how much I can expect to pay for an new engine for an 89
Nissan Pulsar? Mine blew up about 6 months ago when the radiator developed
a leak (and I overheated it) and I don’t know if they’re even available.
Thanks in advance….

try hitting the solenoid on the starter with a rubber mallet…. sometimes they
just stick….
its below the right hand side exhaust manifold…
Just replace the alternator. The 240′s employ on-board alternator voltage
regulators. You cannot replace the voltage regulator without replacing the
alternator.

Got the champagne gold little guy in 1994… Only has 18,000 miles on it !!!
However, My husband (soon to be ex) had a little accident in it…
The frame is not bent, but it needs body work… I and my chief engineer
friend ripped the special front spoiler off and threw it in the dumpster! It
need’s a left corter panel, possibly a new hood and some
repair work on the right corter panel… SWEET little car: it does drive;
5 speed, CD, power windows and locks, cruise control, a/c, security system,
rear spoiler; much more…
Anyone interested or that has any suggestions please email me at the addy
below… (I now have an Ultra Red 1996 300ZX; It was a play car for the
owner of the dealership where I originally bought the 240)…
It only has 5,000 miles on it… SWEET SWEET SWEET!!!

I bought this car in 1994… It is champagne gold; fully loaded…(5 speed,
only 18,000 miles!, rear spoiler, CD player, a/c, security system, power
windows and locks, great tires, cruise control, great gas mileage, many more
extras!)
However, my husband – soon to be my ex, had an accident in it…
It drives… The frame is not bent; needs a passenger side quarter panel,
some body work on the drivers quarter panel, possible a new hood or body
work to it; and a new front bumper/spoiler…
This car has been very well taken care of…
Anyone interested or anyone with suggestions about what to do with her;
please email me at the addy below…
I already have bought a 300ZX so I need to sell this car or parts of it…

My ’91 2-wheel XEV6 just lost it’s fourth automatic transmission
yesterday. The first 4 were covered under the extended warranty which
expired 3/97. Anybody else heard of anything this outrageous? Any thoughts
on getting Nissan to cover it again? I’m dealing with their Consumer
Affairs department now.
Bought my wife a new ’95 Volvo 850 mom-mobile and now I think it’s time to
fix this lemon and get one too.
