Murano trailer towing info?

what do you think of towing a two axel snowmobile trailer with a
Murano? Max weight would be 3 sleds at max 500lb ea = 1500 lbs + the
trailer wgt of about 1000lb max. for total of 2500-3000 depending on
extra gear and gas.  We do not do much mountain driving but we do a
little.  Also drive in snow and on snowy roads. Dealer says it may be
squirrly but I think he is trying to get me to move up to the Armada.

Comments welcome.

Faulty Remote Control Car Door Un-lockers with panic alarm

Greetings to All,

How long do these remote control car door un-lockers with the panic alarm
usually last?

New batteries were installed and the thing still  won’t work.

Can they be repaired?

If they don’t work when the batteries go dead, does it have to be
re-programmed?

Thanks,

Jeff

UK Sunny engine number

Can anyone tell me how to find the engine number for an M registered Sunny
Spray ( UK 3dr).
Is it on the VIN plate, or hidden on the underside of the engine? I can’t see
any from under the bonnet, and I’m not sure what the other numbers are on the
VIN plate.

Thanks

Frontier mpg's

All–

Anyone keeping track of their mpg’s in XE V6 4x4s??   Altho
Edmunds, and the EPA, generally consider the mpg pretty low, I’ve talked to
a few people who swear they’re getting 25 plus!
I’m waffling between the Frontier/Tacoma.  Leaning toward the
Frontier: style, better price, crewcab/long bed combo, love the blue!!  Good
mpg’s would nail it for me.
Kinda like the wild yellow, but I’d lose my wife.  Plus it’s proly
a ticket-magnet around here in/about NYC…
          TIA!

Frontier vs. Tacoma

All–

Waffling between the two, w/ auto, 4×4.  Leaning toward the
Frontier, as the cash rebate is pretty good, has a crewcab+long bed, nice
styling.
But some mechanic friends say toyotas are in general better
built, altho I’m sure others would say the opposite–just haven’t met those
friends yet!  In Consumer’s Report, altho both rate high in reliability (a
primary concern of mine), Toyota does seem to edge nissan out.
Did anyone else wrestle with this, or other decisions?   What
went in to your decision?
Plus, nissan’s site makes locating "your" car pretty
straightforward!  Don’t think Toyota has this, altho I’m not the britest Web
bulb…

1988 PATHFINDER

Hello,
Have a ’88 Pathfinder SE, 5-speed.  voltage gauge reads normal at idle and
at steady speeds but will spike up high when accelerating or when sitting
still and reving the engine.  the guage never reads below normal, just high
during the mentioned times and effects the speed of the ac / heater fan,
which increases in speed also..
Any ideas?
Thanks..

From what I can find the 2005 Xterra is gonna have a larger & more
powerful engine, be slightly wider, longer and higher.

Question is what’s gonna happen to its base price?

Deadlocks fitted on Nissan Navara Double cab ???

Hi,

Can anyone confirm if the uk spec (or import) Nissan Navara  comes with
deadlocks on the doors as standard, cos as far as i can see at the moment it
doesn’t.

If this is the case I find it very disappointing as I think this should be
standard on all manufactured vehicles in this day and age ! No excuses !!

Thanks for any help on this

Jim
