93 Nissan Maxima – Installing new speakers…

I bought a CD player/radio and installed it in my ’93 Maxima, well, it
was too much for the factory speakers, so 3 months later, I blew the
rear left speaker. I thought all I would have to do is buy new speakers,
pop off the speaker covers, unscrew the speakers, put the new speakers
in, plug in the wires, pop the covers on and viola! Done!

That wasn’t the case. I called a Nissan dealer, turns out I had to take
out my back seat, take off the rear deck, that exposed the speakers,
then I had to put it all back together. I just thought that was kind of
a hassle.

Anyone else with a similar experience?
