It sounds like they’re just pressuring you into having the maintenance
done at their place. I wouldn’t have signed it, and would have told
them that you do the maintenance yourself. I also would point out
that the maintenance schedule doesn’t show required maintenance every
3K, unless maybe you drive it hard (Scheudle 1?).

What did the $75 service include? Please list all the specifics.
What the dealer told you is total crap. The only things to do on an Altima
are oil every 6,000 miles (not 3,000 – per owners manual), air filter,
coolant, and spark plugs every 30,000 miles. Other than that, it’s on an
as-needed basis (like brake pads and inspect rubber hoses, etc.
I’ve owned 4 Nissans over the past 10 years (own 2 now), and the Nissan
dealers have gotten so bad that I’ll never buy another Nissan again. Your
best bet is to stay away from them.
Good cars, lousy dealers.
I bought my 98 Altima at a dealership that is big on tv and boy was that 24
hours of hell , but staying on subject the dealerships Service dept was
really lousy well there good for warranty work but that just about it
anything else I just perfer to take it to Jiffy lube even though the sales
lady said have to take there to get the car serviced, i said I’ll do that
the day I win lottory and we all know the odds of that are.
