I have a 1991 4X2 pickup with the 4 cyl. The tires are 195x75x14. The extended cab v6
that year had 215x75x14 tires which I think look better. The 195s look undersized by
comparison. The base 4×4 had 15 inch rims.
I’d like to put something larger on my truck. I know the 215x75x14 will fit
nicely because that’s what was on the ext. cab v6 with the same basic body type. I’d
like to go a little bigger if possible. Does anyone have any suggestions about the best
tire/wheel size for the 4×2 pickups? Thanks.
Brian

Get a set of TSW Kalahari 15×7 rims (6 lug) and some 225/75 tires..
look absolutely trick!

The larger 15 inch wheels will cause the front tires to rub on sharp turns
and your speed will actually be faster than it appears on the speedometer
since you will be using tire sizes not calibrated to the spedo.

15 inch rims will not rub. unless your trying to run tall tires on a 4×2. you
can fit 17 inch rims on the 2wd hardbody with lo profile tires.
